Any theater people in the Midwest interested in seeing Pericles with me? I'm not as much into Shakespeare as I used to be but I'm really exited about the director. I saw Mary Zimmerman's Metamorphoses in NYC and it blew me away. It's exiting to think of how much life she can breathe into Pericles as she did with greek mythology. I would like to go the weekend of January 20th or maybe even this weekend, if we can work around Rocky. I'm pretty flexible with dates and times. There's 8PM Friday and Saturday or a Sunday matinee at 2. Tickets are a bit pricey, at $35 to $50 depending on seat preference. I'm sure it will be well worth it. I put in for a raffle too, I could win a $200 dinner gift cert and 2 tickets to the show. That would RULE.

Oh gosh, please go see this and tell me about every minute. Or, like, call me there and leave the phone on. Ha, I wonder if anyone's ever tried that at a theater, like at a rock show? I agree about Shakespeare, but I would love to see more of her projects myself. I think my greatest drama geek secret is that I have pretty much never cared very much for Shakespeare even a little bit. Well. A little bit.

Relatedly, can you please fly out here for a couple hours just so we can go see the Tristan and Isolde movie together? That would be real awesome, thanks.

Miss you, Miss.
