Distractions! Yes!
This Sunday, Heather and a bunch of her classmates will be coming to Bristol. I have the day off and won't have to sit in the jewelry shop all day this time! Let me know if you want to join us. I know a stealthy way to get in for $9.
She is also rallying the troops to finally come down and see me in Rocky on Saturday night, Labor Day weekend. Let me know about that one too. Carpool caravans to Chicago need to be organized.
Also, is anyone up for the Ani Difranco concert Friday October 13th? The tix that came up on Ticketmaster on Monday were in the back of the balcony at 33 bucks plus 7 something Ticketmaster fees. I'd have to take off work that day to make it down there for an 8:00 show but I'm willing to do that for a fun evening. I could go either way, really: see her now or wait until the next tour. She'll be cute and glowy and extra pregnant later on anyway. :)
I shouldn't be throwing 40 bucks to the wind, but oh well. I've been working my ass off all summer, I deserve a little treat.
