flickr question

EasyShare my ass.

Anyone a Flickr user and use the Flickr Uploadr tool to get your lovelies transferred?
I was given a new Kodak camera that came with its own software that doesn't allow copying and pasting (which I want to do in order to move my new pics in with the rest of the lot in My Photos) and won't let me drag and drop into the uploadr either. How the hell am I supposed to get my new stuff on flickr then? eh?

Help.

EDIT: I was able to get the 20 something new shots I took onto flickr using the one at a time method after locating the file location that was pretty well hidden. I hope I figure out an easier way to do this.

That's probably not the uploader, as the uploader should easily transfer any image on your comp (assuming it's a jpg/png/gif).

How do you get them off the camera when you don't want to put them on flickr?

I usually save them directly to my photos under my documents but this Kodak program is saving it somewhere else entirely. I think I have it figured out now but it's a total pain in the ass.

You should be able to tell it where you want to put the pictures. You might want to consider getting a card reader for 10 or 20 bucks, that way you can transfer the pictures right off the card to your computer and you don't ever have to mess with hooking the camera up to get the pics off. It's hella convenient at the very least.

I did try that first. I have a front loading card reader and various other USB type ports to have easy access to. I popped in the card, it blinked and blinked but the photo wizard tool that usually pops up to help me get them into my pictures never popped.

Something otherwise must be up with it then. The Easy Share software might be overriding it somehow. You might want to consider just uninstalling/deleting that unless you need it for some other reason. You have a card reader and flickr and you we're fine doing it before (I'm assuming), so I say just dump the Kodak software.

flickr is apparently being worthless to a lot of people right now. might have to wait til they fix it or the server straigtens out or whatever.
