Let me not outlive my own capacity to love
Jan. 3rd, 2003 08:02 pmYes. I am alive. I was just looking back, having not posted since mid December. Not exactly sure why. Just waiting for something I can say without needing to censor myself or just plain not wanting to share the contents of the chaotic melting pot that is my head. Honestly, since school got out, I've been running around non-stop trying to fit in as much activity and people visiting time (and lots of hours at Aurora) that haven't allowed me even a moment to sit down and write in my *real* journal. Until today.
Today I woke up in New York City, on flannel sheets with the most adorable little sheep you've ever seen, with my Liz in the corner. I've never been this content in a long long time. We're spending the day having self reflection/journaling time with spurts of waving and random thought sharing. And damn that's wonderful. So far I'm up to Christmas in my journal. So much has happened, I don't know where to begin.
Well, tis time for some soup and another round of bootleg broadway, so I must be off.
I hope my Hezzie is feeling a little better and has a good road trip. I hope April and Paige have a great night with Ewan and fuzzy red couches. I hope Liz and Wolfie are having a nice winter break.
AND if anyone is open minded towards the wonderful world of musical theater, I HIGHLY recommend getting your pinchable bums to see Chicago. Because it went above and beyond my expectations and I want to see it again and again and again and get the DVD. I can honestly say it would belong in my collection beside Hedwig, Into the Woods and Moulin Rouge. And Catherine Zeta Jones, despite current gigs on cellular commercials, kicked ass. So much in fact, she gets the honor of being my user icon.
I promise to tell stories about our adventures when I get home.
Love and hugs to all.
