take me with you take me with you don't leave me here behind

Back to class I have gone. With much reluctance. It's just not fair to have to return to the daily grind after four weeks of heavenly freedom. In all fairness, class is going very well, with only one semester to go. The happy phantom has no right to bitch. But still. My classmates were equally transformed by the break (all 8 of us...) including a marriage proposal, a trip to Australia and a trip to Florida. When they turned to me, I proudly said I was in New York visiting my dearest Ear. Well, not in those words of course. I don't have the time and have given up on explaining that story to people. They just accept my weirdness and move on. Don't even get me started on why there is a paper pineapple hanging from my ceiling. Nothing major to report. Just a general nondescript week of classes and battling to keep the rehab department afloat at Aurora. Actually, I take that back, I did run into the directors of the Renaissance Faire last week. I have about a million questions about why my guilde was kaput and how I should audition and how many spots are open in the Bella Donnas and yadda yadda yadda. I wasn't recognized (wasn't expecting them to remember me amongst all those people) but managed to get a nice long discussion going about auditioning and the new setup that faire is going to form next season. I feel pretty good about it. As for this weekend, I'm returning once again to Park's theater for another rousing rehearsal. Saturday is my Bampa's birthday, so I'll be forced to consume mass quantities of cake (I don't know what I'll do) and watch football. Then I'm probably going to Randy's Sunday nite/Monday since I'm off of school and work on Monday (yay!). And as of a few hours ago, I've made plans to see Rocky at the Oriental Theater in Milwaukee (Paige and Wolfie, you are welcome to join us!!) with Becky and Eric from faire. For some reason, we've managed to be good friends since June and never mentioned that she played Columbia in the Chicago cast since '98. Definitely have to see that sometime. She and the cast are going to the Sensual Daydreams show to celebrate the 25th anniversary. I'm getting far too hyped about this. Maybe because I'm not driving and therefore not worrying/freaking out over parking/gas/etc...I'm such a spaz with my car. AND if any of you peoples out there have not seen Chicago, it is currently playing at the Oriental, which is a perfect setting if you can't get to the Ziegler. I just saw the ad for Nicholas Nickleby. HAVE to see that. Just check out the awesome cast! woo! yay alan! No more spiceworld for you!
Ever since I got home I've been in such a good mood because of my weekend plans and then I look on my bed to find a package from miss paigalicious. We never got together for xmas for no good reason and she mailed a box of magical things. You made my day, Paige! You really did! Thank you so much. heeeeeeeeee. I feel like putting on my (2001) prom dress (that I blatantly ripped off from the movie) and prancing about the house. Yes, I am 8 years old.
ok. I must be off to de-blue goo my face.
