weee. Tim and I headed down to Chi-town to see Mr. Brian and Mr. Phil doing what they do best. We caught up with Becky and Eric and had some extra time, so what would three young hipsters do in Chicago, but check out a leather costume/bondage shop for gay men. Ok, we were only in there for a second and were in search of something. But still. In the neighborhood we wandered through some really neato stores. I remembered how much I wanted to go punk a few years ago, looking through those racks of safety pinned/brand new-old looking clothes. Then I remembered why. These clothes are only made for spoiled rich kids (you would not believe the prices on those things) that are less than a size 10. heh. no. I did find a nice pair of red and black striped knee highs though.
Becky blew me away with her ability to navigate traffic without batting an eyelash. Chicago traffic is scaaary.
Later, we all drove up to Highland Park, bid Becky goodbye to get ready to run sound and lights for the show, and had a really nice dinner at a Tai place. I had cashew chicken that rocked my world. Needless to say the show also rocked my world. It made me miss seeing them together at Bristol. Hopefully they will be reunited next year, if management stops being stuuupid.
After the show I got a Tshirt, introduced myself again to the boys and had them sign my shirt. They are such awesome people. And it was cool to see the holes all over Brian's back after laying on the bed of nails. yeowch.

****Photo op!!****
I would have had a really nice shot of me cuddling with Phil but my friggin camera decided it didn't want to work.
At least I got a kiss out of it.

Also, here's Stongbad/Tim and Pouty Strongbad Tim from the previous evening for your viewing pleasure.
I wish I could have had more energy last night. De-rocky-virginizing Tim and seeing Eric and Ian doing the lingerie show would have kicked ass. Oh well.
We are definitely attending the Hedwig show in September. We had some fun times going lingerie shopping, anyway. ::snicker::
And Eric, never again do I want to see what you did with bread last night, ok? never. again. Oh the things I have seen happen to bread.
What did bread ever do to deserve such abuse?
