my brain has turned to mush...

I did it!! I took my friggin Licensing exam. It was three long hours, 175 questions that were STUPID and not specific really hard to answer. It's all over now. All I can do is wait and hope for the best.
Hopefully in a week I will be an official licensed PTA.

Now I can finally relax and enjoy my birthday and three day weekend and see the Darkness and have cake with my family.

In other news, [livejournal.com profile] corenrind: did you notice that Mr. Bird is coming to NYC on the 22nd of May to celebrate your graduation??

first of all, I hope so much that everything went smoothly for you on the exam front, and that you have lots of fun tonight for your birthday. I've been thinking of you.

also: agog.

dude, so like, I heard about the show in Boston the next day a week or so ago and melted, and now this (actually on graduation night, unbelievably.) I, like, cannot even fathom how that show would be the most beautiful thing evarrrrrrrrr. the Magnetic Fields are wonderfully lovely and odd, and this is sort of a comeback thing for them (they haven't released anything/played live in a few years) and really fabulous exposure for our andrew! damn.

if I had $100 I would take everyone I love to see it instead of the grad ceremony. I don't know. we'll see. (are you still considering coming out then? you should hook up with my dad to brainstorm travel ideas, if you like. it'd be lovely to have you, of course.)

sometimes music concerts just seem like the perfectest things ever, you know? on that note, I'm glad you get some live rockin' tonight and I hope it's awesome! talk to you this weekend, I hope.

Wow. I didn't know it was on your actual day of graduation. That is perfect, no?

Yes, I would like to celebrate your graduation with you if my financial and job situation allows. Now that I know when the ceremony is, I can start brainstorming.
