First off, way to go Packers. Sleep through the whole game and squeak in a field goal in the last 3 seconds to win the game. What the hell is that? And not a peep out of you, Becky and Eric!! :oP

Looks like hunting season is in full swing. First a 60 year old (from my home town, no less) falls out of a tree and dies, then a 40 something gets accidentally shot and killed, now some dumb ass up-nort decided it was justified to shoot FIVE people over an argument of who's private property they were on.

Let me get this straight: people have made a sport out of sitting on their asses all day, drinking mass quantities of beer and shooting each other and innocent animals that are minding their own business, trying to survive in this lousy world? Sounds like a great idea to me. Cheers, lads.

My aren't I feisty this evening. I am so freakin tired it's making me bitchy. I shall remedy that very soon...

so a few years ago I was on the road playing a show in Kirksville Mo. and as we were driving into town, we passed a Burger King. this was at the begining of Deer hunting season and the sign outside read "Deer Hunters! are you hungry?" something about that made me start laughing hysterically. most likely because what I read and what followed in my head went something like "Deer hunters! Are you hungry... FOR BLOOD!?"

haaaa! love it!

1, its awful that the crazy guy gunned down a whole family of hunters but...
2, i worry first that anti-asian sentiment may rise, hes a korean guy from the city, not a hick, he lives in the twin cities
3, theres a problem of over population among deer, so somethign needs to be done ie hunting or more wolf introduction and theres plenty of debate over that
4, nto all hunters are crazy either, some just liek to hunt, and the company and beign otu in nature, and soem eat the meat too, so etc etc etc.

not that i could do it myself but i guess i understand it. sort of. i liek the killign of meat to be out of site personallty. besides, im nto a vegetarian, be hard for me to be too critical.

Yeah, I was also going to mention the thing about the over population of deer and the "I just like to hunt with my buddies" thing. I don't have a problem with hunting, per se; but the stupid drunk guys with guns is never a good idea. Of course, being drunk and handling potentially dangerous weapons is not confined to hunting (i.e., driving).

They can't keep winning like that, and the Vikes can't keep lsing by 3 in the last minute of the game either....
Just look at Xmas Eve.... who gets the present?
