(no subject)

I finally sat down and watched Clue in its entirety last night with Chris. Mrs. Ho has ONE line!! yesssssssssssss!!
I hope I can find something that looks similar to what she's wearing at Goodwill. Anybody have a chef's hat laying around their house?
Shadowcasting that movie is going to be fun. I'm looking forward to it.

oh yes, I'm supposed to be studying right now. Right.
Seriously though, I'd be more wiling to do so if it was actual anatomy or physiology material that I can readily use in my career. 3 chapters of chemistry is friggin BORING and I get to look forward of 2 semesters of it next year. oh joy oh rapture.

Check out my new icon! I wish I could find more pictures from Mirrormask but there's not much out there, as far as I could find. such a pity too, there's lots of great characters and masks and scenic design that would make bitchin icons.

yeah, you wanna go? we'll be hitting up the costume shop up on howard, as well as a couple thrifty stores, then heading down to hyde park for the party. if you're at chris's house, we could come get you (and chris, if he wants to go) before we hit the costume shop. gimme a call! :D

I bet it's MUCH easier to watch Clue when your sister isn't griping and complaining about how she would rather see a really funny movie and repeatedly saying how long we've been watching a not-so-funny movie, hee.

I'm such a snot, you know?!

Oh, and I really want to see Mirrormask....but is it still only playing in Chi-town? Not Milwaukee yet?

Almost done with Anansi Boys. You'll have it this weekend. Love you!

[identity profile] learning2fly.livejournal.com 2005-10-21 12:27 am (UTC)(link)
the website for it is not helpful or up to date as far as I know but last time I checked it's still in that shitty yuppy theater in Chicago.

yes yes, bring on the anansi boys.

Wait, you're doing Clue? That's so... weird! And ha. Also, how many times have you almost-watched that movie? Because I can think of yet another aside from Heather's reminiscence, taking place in a basement with a few screwdrivers and the appearance of a boy from Arkansas. Gawd.

Also I totally forgot about seeing Mirrormask. Is it fun? Scary? I don't really know what it's supposed to be, but I think I want to spend the entire weekend at the movies.

Yeah, I didn't mention that yet, did I? whoops.

OH GEEZ OH MAN don't remind me about THAT. Sometimes I wish I could call the guys from Eternal Sunshine to burn those memories out of my head.
'duuuh, I'm from arr-kansas.'
Wasn't his big ice breaker that they have blow up sheep dolls? uggggh. What the hell was I thinking. And I brought you into it too! I'm a horrible person!! :)

Mirrormask was amazing. You should see it, you will love it. Not scary really, some intense parts but not gory or violent at all. Liz friendly, I'm sure. As far as movies go, you need to come home for Rent next month so we can continue the tradition of seeing musical flicks together for the first time. It won't be the same without you.

I was a bit concerned that you might think the role was too small/simple, especially to split with Mom Elaine on the opposite weekend, but since you said you were busy with school and work I was hoping you wouldn't mind. Glad you don't :-)

I don't mind at all. I'll be working the weekend of rehearsals for it and the second weekend of the show, so minimal responsibility this time is perfect for me. I'm happy to be a part of it, in whatever capacity. :)
