How do you all feel about silver wedding shoes? The red John Fluevog ones are no longer available and ran about three times as much as I wanted to pay. I would totally wear these ones again. And again.

These are okay too, (I'm a sucker for the mary jane style strap) but will be white with a champagne colored dress. Not sure about that.

There's about a million ones like this out there too. (boooooring...)

I'm totally open for suggestions. I'm looking for something off white, red or sapphire blue in victorian or vintage style if at all possible. :)

EDIT: Unanimous vote! Silver shoes win! Zappos will take the return if they're not right, so I ordered them. I picked the silver 'Cabaret' ones instead of the Footlight pair I had linked earlier. Lower heel and 20 bucks cheaper. Plus, they're called freakin CABARET for crying out loud. :)

I like the first ones. Silver is awesome for wedding shoes as long as not everything else is gold. Plus you can wear them to Trixie in too!
2nd ones and 3rd ones scream wedding and you probably won't get much use out of them later.

Strange that I could trixie in shoes I'll get married in.

I think the silver shoes are really cute, and they should be pretty comfortable too!

that's what I was thinking too. I wanted a slightly wider heel for walking on gravel up the aisle, plus they look supportive and comfy.

the capezio ones are dance shoes i believe. leather soles too i believe?

my advice...have a pair of sandals that are platform wedges the same height as your dress shoes. (old navy usually has some of all foam) then while doing pictures or while dancing or walking in grass you are good. also, then if there is dancing later and you want out of your dressy shoes you can dance in the others without stepping allover your dress.

I am SO getting quality character shoes to wear with my gown! I've heard GREAT things about TicTacToes comfort (tictactoes.com) from hard-core older chorus members that wear these for hours up on the risers. I think they're customer friendly too, because I asked their customer service if any colors would work with an ivory dress, and she sent me out a handful of leather swatches to compare in person before I order the actual shoes. They're a little more pricey than my black Leo's, but I think it's worth it, and I will wear them again too.
