BAAD thunderstorms and a tornado in Logan's Square are standing between me and home right now.

This morning, my windshield wipers wouldn't work. Made for a scary drive.
I'm really hoping that they'll work when I get up the nerve to drive home.

oh dear... that one really sucks. I drove back from madison in the big big blizzard we had this winter. ice kept sticking to my wiper so id have to reach out of the car and when the wiper was near my hand id pluck it so it slapped against the windshield and the ice released. that was all good and fine until the windshield wiper flew off my car at about 45 miles an hour on the freeway. it was the worst driving weather ever. seriously, kind of amazing i didnt go off the road. i was behind a target semi so i just kind of tried to keep my car pointed at the target logo. when he got off the freeway, so did i. I now have windshield wiper anxiety. i feel for you. that blows.
