I hope everyone had a nice day off yesterday. I certainly did. Yay parents-not-home-so-we-eat-cake-and-watch-movies-all-day Day. Hez and I spent the whole day together, painting our nails, making cake, dying each other's hair. I dyed my hair red today......(still a tori song top 10 in my book). So many quotes so little time. That's why I love my hezzie so much. She actually understands my quotes from random movies.
Thanks to the recent cold front, the weather has gone down to 80 degrees and I'm much less freaked about another weekend of faire. Dan (mr 28) has learned his boundaries (i.e. no kissing my neck dammit!) and now has become a good friend of mine. I'm looking forward to this weekend. Now that I know what to expect sort of, I feel much more confident. I even practiced the dance sets in my living room for the cat. Lestat did not look at all amused.
He's so creepy sometimes. you wonder what he's thinking while he stares at you without blinking. Cats are funny. not as wonderful as dogs, but entertaining.
I just realized as I looked at my Brain today that I start another class next Monday. I was just starting to enjoy my summer. arg.
This time I'm taking on another gen ed class, Oral/Interpersonal Communications. That's exactly what I need. After BAPA, I could probably TEACH the freakin thing. Ah well. Another breezy A never hurts. and it's in K-town, so I can go to work with a quick 10 minute drive over. not bad. I'll live.
And a word to all you peoples out there: I'm making a mix cd of songs with the word 'fly' in them. any suggestions would be great. I'm thinking about expanding the criteria to songs with melissa words in them. Dream wish star.....
but I'd rather stick to just fly if I can find enough to fill a 74 min cdr. Then again, I think John Lennon's Imagine would make a fine final track. decisions decisions. let me know if you think of anything!
