hail and well met, cousins. My apologies for failing to post anything. It's just been too freakin crazy lately. In a good way. Class is going well. It's so damn easy. Right now I'm supposed to be researching the meaning of the color yellow and present it to the class in 20 minutes.
I really lucked out this summer with such great groups of people for classmates and kind teachers. I'm really grateful for that. As far as work goes, it's getting better. We all had a meeting earlier to discuss how we can make our department a well oiled machine like it used to be instead of continuing to work through constant chaos. It's hard to accept what we have in the present when we know in the near future we'll be up on the 3rd floor of the Vince Lombardi cancer center with tons of room. eh. We'll live.
Faire is going well. Lots of underlying secrets and things going around....some of you are aware of mine. For those who understand what I say, Saturday night was a success. I followed my heart and didn't make any hasty decisions. I can control myself. Sometimes. I actually feel much better having gone through with it. I resisted the urge to run. How can I keep this vague??? I guess I'll have to post later on with more details, maybe locked. We'll see. I can't even find words to get those directly involved to understand how I feel.
I can happily report no need to get thrown in the cooler from heat exhaustion. I kept myself very hydrated and comfy. as comfy as one can be in such condition. Let me just say that ice down the bodice is the best idea ever. :
