I wish I was in high school again so I could have the summer off. It is so beautiful outside, I just want to walk along the lakefront all day, take naps in the hammock, and chill out. For 3 months or so...
Ah well, no luck. Working full time is a necessary evil. I love my job, I really do. I just wish I could do less of it? Well, come fall I'll be a part time student at Parkside and won't be as full time anymore. So I just might get my wish.

Last weekend was amazing. Friday night Heather, her classmate with the fabulous name of Melissa and I had dinner at the Chicago Diner in boystown. SO GOOD. Must go back there someday. For Heather's birthday I got her a baseball shirt from the restaurant that says 'kiss a vegetarian, taste the difference' on the back. Cute, no? Then we went to the Pontiac for a huge gathering of people I've never met before from Heather's school for overpriced drinks and live band karaoke. What a rush. The band was awesome. Emily's bro went on right before me and man did he rock. I sang the Darkness moderately well I think. My mike wasn't working for the 1st half but I kept on dancing and singing my heart out anyway. It was really fun. I'm glad I didn't chicken out.
Saturday was a whole lotta nothin, loungin around with Chris. Had my first stuffed pizza.
Later on we went to see Becky's debut with Too Much Light. I love sitting in the front row. The cast always messes with us and it's so much more fun. Eric got pulled up there or harrassed in his seat many times. Becky blew me away, she was totally in her element onstage. I was so proud!! Even got to see miss Corrine at the show. We all went to Zephr's after to battle the War of the Worlds. We won. And it was good.

Yesterday started off really wonderful but by the time I got home it all went to hell. I have to go to work soon, so I won't get into it now. You can all look forward to an ever-so happy post later this evening, if I can wrestle my family for the computer, that is.
