someone send help please. I can't stop listening to Josh Groban. if anyone has not heard his GORGEOUS self, I highly recommend going to his fan site (www.joshgroban.com). You can listen to his new album. all of it.
He's a 20 year old who just recently discovered his awesome baritone voice a couple years ago. (and he notes that his inspiration was seeing Mandy in Sunday in the Park with George. isn't that awesome, lizzy?)
I first saw him on ally mcbeal, but assumed his voice was dubbed like everyone else on that show. Which reminds me. Not only did the stupid networks cancel Once and Again, now they decided to cut ALLY? I'm the first to admit it's a goofy show and it's getting worse, but I still love it for some reason, dammit. If they cut gilmore girls I'm screaming.
anyhoo. I'm having a great weekend. The kitty is behaving, dad's almost finished with the new floor and I actually cracked my books open yesterday instead of half ass cramming sunday night. Last night dad and I reminisced with classic fantasy flicks we love so much- Dragonslayer and The Hobbit. So cute.

I'm still trying to figure out my character for ren faire. I think that once I decide on a name, everything will fall into place. What do you guys think?

oy. What did I get myself into? A labor of love,I suppose. I'll do anything to get into acting again. I'm really exited. The revelers get to dance dance DANCE. We dance for the queen and teach the little kids to dance, we play games, get in fights with the bad guys. huzzah.
bring it on. :)
I'll let you know what develops. We have our second rehearsal next sunday.

as far as school goes- I officially finished my first round of clinicals last friday. I learned a lot with all the patient contact I had, but I must admit that I was glad to be out of there. The lead P.T. is such a freakin ass. I couldn't stand it. He orders around the aides and talks down to everyone. grrrrrr. Not to mention the crappy patient care. Each therapist sees patients every 15 mins. which ends up being 3 minutes with the licensed therapist and 20 or more with a poorly trained aide. The wisconsin P.T. association could have a field day there.
eh. It's over. and my really awesome clinical instructor is quitting soon and getting a better position in a good company. good for her.

I'm really nervous about tomorrow. It's my very first PTA club meeting where I act as the president. The club really sucks right now and it's up to me to make it better somehow. We'll see.


I'm off to take a nap. because I can.

Josh rocks. and he's pretty. I love how he has no music background, just the love of singing to guide him. He was luckily found by a demo tape and was really noticed when he sang as a replacement for andrea boccelli (sp? sorry if I butchered it) in a duet with (gag) Celine Dion. Then he did 2 episodes of ally, then he sang at the closing ceremonies with (also gag) Charlotte Church. It really is a pretty song. It's the last song on the album. His songs from ally are also on there. give him a gander. He's well worth the effort. and he's single....and very pretty.....and our age........

I'm just tickled right now. I've got cantaloupe, blackberry merlot and a PINEAPPLE!!!!! How cute are my parents? They're driving me mad, but they're damn cute sometimes. They're watching Ren and Stimpy right now.

Thanks again april for talking me down. I dont know what came over me. Looking back on it, I just want to clarify that I did not call you as a second choice. It's not like liz wasnt home and I settled on you. I really wanted to talk to you and I knew you'd understand where I was coming from. so there.

i havent heard from the zoo yet so i am going to bug them tomorrow. it was either a grounds keeper or concessions, i got interviwed twice. i hope that i get something since i have been sort of turned down numerous times now. its not cool.
