Some things that need to be discussed/confirmed/organized:
item number one: this coming Saturday is the 8th annual Hideout Block Party in which you can contribute whatever you can give to several really worthy causes to gain entry to an outdoor concert extravaganza. Andrew Bird, Kelly Hogan and the Wooden Leg, Kevin Tihista's Red Terror, Macha, Mouse on Mars, Manishevitz, Archer Prewitt, and Mah Jongg will all be there. Andrew does his set at 4:00, so I'd like to get down there around 3 so we can catch Kelly Hogan too.
Ian? Tim? You two voiced interest in going. Shall we meet there? Also, Becky and Eric, if ya'll are free you should join us. It's going to be great. There's various restaurants and radio stations with booths to check out. And I just noticed there will be Scary Toesies, a puppet show that goes off at the end of the day. THE PUPPET SAID SUCK IT!!
Hell, anyone is welcome to join us. ::coughLizcancomehomefrombrooklyntocometoocoughcough::
item number two: Stronghold. Who is going? Are we dancing? Is TJ heading the group or is Eric? I really want to go to that haunted house Joe was telling us about too. That's Friday night though, not sure if that's going to work.
item number three: SPAMALOT!! tickets are selling out quickly, so we need to figure this shit out ASAP. Can we all agree on a day? How about Saturday January 8th? matinee or 8:00. Can we all get our own tickets also, because I don't have the funds to get them all at once. I don't really care who I sit with, just as long as we all go down there, frolic around downtown for a while, have some Cheesecake Factory and make it to the show.
Let's all agree on a day and time by Tuesday, ok? I don't want anyone to get left out because we're putzes.

Date: 2004-09-20 11:02 am (UTC)#2 - October 2nd and 3rd. In Oregon, IL. I highly doubt that you'll want to brave traffic to go to the Haunted House on Friday night. If it's open on Saturday I'm sure that a bunch of people might go to it if they don't feel like sitting around the campfire.
#3 - I'll have to talk with Eric about the show. I don't know if he'll have a wrestling meet or anything like that on that particular day.

Date: 2004-09-20 01:34 pm (UTC)I saw Hogan last weekend and she was, as ever, in fantastic tummy-tickling form. I also really really love Archer Prewitt, so if you feel like throwing out some Liz vibes, I recommend it.
LET'S TALK SOON. My phone reception at home has randomly become stinky, so I will hopefully try successfully soon. Take care!

Date: 2004-09-20 04:25 pm (UTC)you can get tix anytime, really. I just needed to put down a deadline so this doesn't drag any longer or none of us are going to get seats.
I couldn't find any balcony seats available, we're probably going to have to splurge on the $40 seats or something.
