This morning's barrage of medical tests were all negative. The ultrasound tech took really good care of me. She saw the tears running down my face and told me the results right away, before the radiologist read them and confirmed I'm ok. Heather was awesome enough to get up really early and go with me. We even had time to grab some breakfast before I had to punch in for the day. Thanks everyone for your love and support. I was really scared but knowing you were all with me made it less awful.


I'm feeling really...fragile.

I think I'll curl up with some Neil Gaiman and go to bed early.

did you get a mammogram? those things fucking HURT. and are totally pointless, as breast tissue at our age is far too dense to show anything anyway. when i had mine i didn't know weather to laugh because it looked so ridiculous or cry because it hurt so bad.

no, thank god they didn't make me go through that. I got away with a plain old ultrasound. Breast tissue looks really weird, yo!
