I just recieved an email from the directors of the ren faire notifying the people in my guilde that our group has been cut from the faire and will be replaced by a new guilde with bigger better performances and with a better director. Only a "select few" will be individually contacted regarding being shifted over to the new group.
What. the. fuck.
Not only was I (and I didn't want to say this) dumped in the mediocre cast because they obviously hated me and thought I had no talent. Not only did I rehearse and perform my heart out and get NO recognition or respect from the other performers...now they're kicking me to the curb unless some kind hearted guildemaster or the new director decides to let me in. Gee thanks people.
I'm so pissed right now I can't even type.
Maybe I'm being overly emotional because today I had to say goodbye to one of my favorite coworkers today. I miss her already.

anyway, I just wanted to let everyone know that the Halloween Rocky Show is this Saturday nite if you'd care to join us. I am still without a corset to wear. :(

I promise to post more later. right now I need to attempt to concentrate on something other than faire and prepare for a huge lab practical exam.

I iwsh that i could come with you guys to see rocky, alas, think of me at least, it was always so much fun. and with ren fair, perhaps it will work out and they will want you in other respects since you have experiance? there must be a bright side, you can always try out again.

Girl! So sorry to hear about RenFaire. That sucks! I wrote to the bookstore there inquiring about employment. I really want to work there in the summa! So anyway, about Saturday. I still don't know what the plan is. So far we have about nine people total in our group, which means at least two cars (dammit!) I will fill you in as soon as I know where we're meeting and what time, etc. Love ya!

NINE PEOPLE????? WHAAAA? Who are these people? I thought it was.....3? 4? Me, you, heather and your bud from the movie theater. hm. ok I guess. the more the merrier.
Which 'bookstore' did you write to? Barnes and Noble? If so, all you have to do is stop in there at the front desk and ask for an application. and if you are, I highly recommend sending in a resume with it to make yourself stick out in the mountain of apps they have. good luck with that. It's a fab place to work. :)
